PEEB AWARDS 2026

Entrepreneurial excellence and regional economic actors in the spotlight
On 30 and 31 May 2026, the Banquet Hall of Ouaga 2000 hosted the 4th edition of the Burkinabe Excellence and Entrepreneurship Award (PEEB AWARDS), organized by Jeunesse Unie pour le Développement de l’Entrepreneuriat Burkinabè (JUDEB). The event is dedicated to promoting entrepreneurial merit. As a partner of this edition, COGEF supported this initiative, which helps showcase entrepreneurs.
Held under the theme “Accelerating industrialization: a strategic lever for Burkina Faso’s economic sovereignty”, this edition brought together more than 500 participants from public institutions and the Burkinabe and subregional business communities. The event featured high-level conferences, master classes, and B2B business meetings.
One of the highlights of PEEB AWARDS 2026 was the recognition of the 13 Builders of the Regional Economy, representing Burkina Faso’s thirteen regions and nominated by the regional COGEFs. Through this recognition, the organizers wished to salute the commitment of these economic actors who contribute, in their respective regions, to the development of entrepreneurship, job creation, and wealth generation.
PEEB AWARDS 2026 also honored several SMEs, small and medium-sized industrial enterprises, and innovative start-ups. Through this initiative, the organizers reaffirm their ambition to promote a strong and resilient national economy, driven by entrepreneurs committed to Burkina Faso’s industrialization and structural transformation process.
