Audience of the Burkina Business Club with the President of COGEF

On Monday, April 20, 2026, Mr. Idrissa NASSA, President of the General Confederation of Enterprises of Burkina Faso (COGEF), received a delegation from the Burkina Business Club (BBC), led by its President, Dr. Franck NASSOURI, in the presence of his close collaborators.

At the outset, Mr. Idrissa NASSA welcomed the delegation before proceeding with an introduction round. He then invited the BBC President to present the purpose of the visit.

Taking the floor, Dr. Franck NASSOURI expressed his gratitude for the audience, which was held in the context of presenting the new Burkina Business Club Executive Board, renewed on March 5, 2026. He also emphasized the BBC’s desire to benefit from the advice and guidance of the COGEF President, in line with COGEF’s strategic vision.

Speaking about the club’s activities, he announced that the first initiative of the new Executive Board will be the organization of a dinner-debate scheduled for April 27, 2026, in Bobo-Dioulasso, centered on the National Development Plan 2026–2030, RELANCE, which will be led by the Minister of Economy and Finance. Regarding future prospects, Dr. NASSOURI mentioned the upcoming organization of study trips, in collaboration with the Burkina Faso Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in order to promote the development of business partnerships for BBC members.

In response, Mr. Idrissa NASSA thanked the delegation for the initiative and congratulated them, while expressing his pleasure at the revitalization of the BBC, which he considers an important player in the country’s economic life.
