GROUPE VELEDGA

Founded in 1980 with capital of CFA 525,000,000, the Velegda Group is an industrial company specializing in the production and distribution of agricultural and cereal products. With several decades of experience, the group has established itself as a major player in its field.
It offers a wide range of products, including sesame, cashew nuts, shea almonds, cereals, shea butter, local white rice, local parboiled rice, as well as various basic necessities such as oil, sugar, salt, and livestock feed.
Since 2025, the VELEGDA Group has been a member of COGEF, and its founder, Mrs. Mamounata VELEGDA, has been an honorary member, thus reflecting her commitment and recognition in the sector.

ACTIVITÉS

The group’s activities cover the entire national territory, with strong involvement in the تنفيذ of public contracts, particularly for the supply of food intended for school canteens. The group also works with organizations such as SONAGESS, CONASUR, the ministry responsible for Humanitarian Action and National Solidarity, the World Food Programme (WFP), and the Red Cross.

PERSPECTIVES

A rice milling unit (local white rice, parboiled rice, and broken rice) is located in Kienfangue, in the rural commune of Komsilga. Its inauguration is expected shortly.
